Kansas State University Kiosk
Studio 7 | Group Project | Revit, Sketch-up, Enscape, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
The second project of studio 7 was an international design exchange group project that lasted 6 weeks. We were tasked with designing a study abroad promotional kiosk design at Inje University in Gimhae, South Korea. Completed in metric scale, this project was highly concept driven and focused on Asian anthropometrics. Taking inspiration from the site, client, and architect Frank Ghery, we came up with the concept of movement, and implemented these conceptual design solutions in the shape and form of the kiosk. With this project being based in South Korea, I was able to gain an understanding of how social, economic, and cultural contexts informs design. This project provided opportunities for developing multi-cultural awareness.
