Healthcare
Throughout my time at Oculus Inc. I was involved in a variety of healthcare projects. I learned and applied prototypical standards, finishes, and specifications through hospital system satellite locations.
One of the most significant lessons I've learned working in healthcare is the importance of empathy in design. Healthcare environments are unique in that they serve individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. Whether it's a patient undergoing treatment, a family member providing support, or a healthcare professional delivering care, each person who enters a healthcare facility brings their own set of emotions, fears, and needs. Designing with empathy means considering the experiences and perspectives of all stakeholders and creating spaces that are not only functional but also compassionate and comforting.
All VA Clinics (CBOCs)
Given the opportunity to work on 6 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in undisclosed locations throughout the country, 5/6 projects are still underway. My role on the CBOCs was to produce interior renderings for the concept design of the lobby spaces.

Government
Government projects have taught me the importance of understanding and navigating regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Unlike many other types of projects, government buildings are subject to strict regulations and guidelines that govern everything from accessibility standards to sustainability certifications. Working on these projects has sharpened my attention to detail and honed my ability to ensure that designs not only meet aesthetic and functional requirements but also comply with legal and regulatory mandates.

Workplace
As an interior designer, workplace design holds a special place in my heart, and there are several reasons why I'm deeply passionate about it.
First and foremost, workplace design directly impacts people's daily lives. The environments we create have the power to enhance productivity, foster collaboration, and promote overall well-being. Knowing that my designs can positively influence the experiences of those who inhabit the space is incredibly rewarding.
Furthermore, workplace design is a dynamic and ever-evolving field. The modern workforce is constantly changing, with new trends, technologies, and ways of working emerging all the time. This presents a constant challenge and opportunity for innovation as a designer.

Hospitality
As an interior designer, I have always found myself drawn to the realm of hospitality design, and there are several reasons why I prefer to work within this particular niche. One of the primary factors is the flexibility and freedom it offers me as a designer.
In hospitality design, there's a unique blend of creativity and practicality that allows for innovative solutions while still meeting the functional requirements of a space. Unlike some other sectors where design might be more rigid or bound by specific guidelines, hospitality projects often provide greater leeway for experimentation and pushing boundaries.
