Studio 5 | Team Project | AutoCAD, 3ds MAX, Photoshop, Illustrator
The second project of Studio 5 was to design a showroom for a manufacturer of our choice, in the location of our choice. This was our first introduction to working in teams of 2. We used the precedent research of the location of London, as well as the identity of the brand, to influence our design decisions. This project further emphasized the importance of conceptual design.
The intent of this design is to create a flexible space that reflects both the values and aesthetics of the brand, and of the location of Clerkenwell, London. This is implemented in a variety of ways, literally and figuratively. Reflective emotional design was used to show customers what it would feel like if they owned the furniture themselves.
